Last Friday evening it started raining, I rushed to close my window and I saw this.. a rainbow.
It’s not the prettiest rainbow I’ve ever seen, definitely not the best photo I’ve taken.. but it’s the first time in my memory seeing a rainbow in the hectic city of Kuala Lumpur.
I love rainbow.. and in my childhood days staying at a village.. rainbow could be seen in abundance, and really beautiful.
Ever since moving to KL, rainbow has become a luxury..

7 years ago.. I sent a bouquet of flowers to a girl, turned out that my best buddy was trying to date her as well. She asked us both to go out together, which we hesitated.. in the end all 3 of us spent our Valentine’s Day alone.
6 years ago.. I sent a note to a girl I had a crush on, and asked for a date, she never replied. For the next 4 months I had a feeling that she turned and ran everytime she saw me from a distance.

Since childhood I was nurtured into the habit of reading, my mother was a teacher and my father was a book collector. My house in Ipoh once had a collection of over 1000 books, but decided to donate it to libraries and orphanage after my father passed away.
I read all kind of books.. fiction, classic, science, business, finance, management, engineering, self-enrichment blah blah..
I was a scout for 2 years during high school, I joined it because my brother was a King Scout.. and at that period of my life all I knew was to follow my brother’s path, he was the role model for me.
They said ‘once a scout, always a scout’.. I do have some fond memories during those scouting years, but it’s the cruel lessons that I learned that’s priceless throughout my life.
Mr Noriyuki Morita aka Pat Morita died Thursday at age 73.
Famously known for his character Mr Miyagi in the karate series, he was one of my childhood favorite actor. Me and my buddies were naive enough to follow the karate ‘lessons’ by cleaning the house, washing (waxing) the cars in hope of becoming a karate master lol..
