Today is World AIDS Day… and I saw the promotion from Google for (RED).
(RED) was created by Bono and Bobby Shriver, Chairman of DATA to raise awareness and money for The Global Fund by teaming up with the world’s most iconic brands to produce (PRODUCT)RED branded products.
A percentage of each (PRODUCT)RED product sold is given to The Global Fund. The money helps women and children affected by HIV/AIDS in Africa.
Interesting idea… I have been thinking about getting an ipod, wonder if Malaysia is selling anything (RED) as well.

The UMNO General Assembly 2006 has ended. As always some leaders are vowing with life and blood to protect Malay interest… can’t blame them, it’s a Malay congress after all, they need to show their aggressiveness towards the others to fulfill their own agenda; that’s politic.
It has been unofficially confirmed that there will be no deadline for NEP. Good to hear that, honestly. At least we can be sure of UMNO’s intention to utilize on the racial biased economic policy until they can get what they want, so call balanced wealth between races in the country.

Singapore Pools 4D Lottery results on November 5th (Sunday) created some buzz when the 2nd and 3rd prizes consist of the same number, 2096.

If the 4D Lottery results are picked in random and independent from number 0000 to 9999, it is possible that a single number winning 2 prizes in a single pool; but the odds of having the same number in any 2 of the top 3 places should be around 1 in every 15 millions draw.
Guess this is what Chinese always say… “2 birds with 1 stone.”

I just blogged a few days back referring to the Petronas Raya commercial, thinking that young Malaysians these days don’t know how to handle old folks (with Alzheimer in particular).
UMNO youth leaders have just proven me right in some sense, with their comments and criticism that retaliates on Dr Mahathir attacks on Prime Minister Abdullah Badawi.

The stylists and photographer for the Miss Astro Chinese International Pageant 2006 promotion photos should stamp their feet for making some poor publicity for themselves.

The girls look much prettier on TV than on this photo… the styling was too over and the angles of the photo made the pageants look stiff and odd.
What’s the point of using stylist and professional photographers if they are not making the contestants more charming?
