Iran President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad posted his first blog entry at ahmadinejad.ir last Friday (Aug 11).

Iran is one of the few countries that has been censoring online information, it’s pretty irony that their President is writing his own blog when the country is not allowing the freedom of voices in the nation.

Malaysian singer Guang Liang (Michael Wong) has been appointed a few months ago as ambassador to promote “Visit Malaysia Year 2007″ in Chinese regions in China, Hong Kong and Taiwan.

Malaysia will be moving into Golden Jubilee of achieving independence, thus organizing the Visit Malaysia Year to lure worldwide travellers in conjunction with series of celebrations in 2007.

I thought of this after reading a popular Chinese blog maintained by the Public Security Bureau from Hebei province, China [link].

The Chinese blog cover various news and information from the Hebei Public Security Bureau including tips to prevent being a crime victim, daily events of the police force, personal diary and interviews with various police personnel.

Blogathon is a charity marathon event where participants will be blogging for one whole day (24 hours) in effort to raise donations for various charity foundations.

The Blogathon 2006 will begin at 0600 Pacific Time, on July 29, 2006. A total of 401 bloggers will update their blog every 30 minutes in an endurance test to raise funds for a specific charity organization determined by each blogger themselves.
