We had a family gathering over the weekend; thanks to the public holiday, my sister (with hubby and kids) managed to travel from Penang to visit us in KL.
Where could be better place than a zoo to bring a bunch of kids for outing?
I can’t remember when was my prior trip to Zoo Negara… it must be more than a decade ago. The zoo seemed decent though, the condition and animal ‘collection’ was better than I expected.

Zoo Negara…i almost forgot this place..it has been 2 decades since i first step my feet into a local zoo..(or did i ever been there? can remember!)
Hmnn, i think i really should go for a visit sometime..soon!

You should pay the zoo a visit Nux… it’s actually a bit weird that Malaysia is promoting like crazy to foreigners about visiting Malaysia and yet we Malaysians rarely bother to visit the tourist spots in our own nation.
I think I should visit more places around.

my last visit to a zoo was the Taiping Zoo many many years ago. It was memorable visit: the lion got a bit randy and decided to “do it” with the lioness….everyone who was there got excited and shouted and cheered the lion on…
Needless to say the lion lost his mood with all the attention

Too bad ganchan… you got so close to witness something that could be ‘once in a lifetime’ lol.
