Like the flower, not because of its beauty, nor colour, nor fragrance… like it, simply because of its name… Forget-Me-Not.

喜欢这花,不因其美,不为其色,不恋其香… 喜欢它,纯为其名… 勿忘我。

It’s indeed a beautiful flower..should replace the rose for Valentine’s Day. more meaningful.
that remind me of a similar “Touch Me Not” plant not flower.
enjoy playing with that plant where it closes up it’s leaves when touched.
are they still around anymore???.

The “Forget-Me-Not” flower is a symbol that was used during the Second World War for the thousands of European Freemasons who were persecuted by Adolf Hitler and placed in the concentration camps along with the Jews and other undesirables. The regular symbol, the Square and Compasses was not allowed to be displayed. In order that each member may recognize each, a “Forget-Me-Not” flower was used in place of the Square and Compasses. It is said that the “Forget-Me-Not” was Hitler’s favorite flower.
