I wonder which term is used officially in Malaysia? Hari Raya Aidilfitri or Hari Raya Puasa?
When I studied in school, I normally used ‘Puasa’ because I found it hard to spell ‘Aidilfitri’. I am still uncertain about the spelling of Aidilfitri these days, have to check dictionary when typing it.. yada, shame on me.
Regardless, Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri, Selamat Hari Raya Puasa, Selamat Hari Raya!

Puasa means fasting.. so we wont say Selamat Hari Raya Puasa, because the puasa is already over, hehehe..
Here in Indonesia, we will say:
“Selamat Hari Raya Idul Fitri”
or
“Selamat Hari Raya Lebaran”
plus:
Minal Aidin Wal Faidzin
Mohon maaf lahir dan bathin :)

Thanks for the note. I checked online, there are definitely more than a few ways to wish for this occassion, just a matter of preference.
Selamat Hari Raya Idul Fitri to all Indonesians.

That fruit is known as castard apple or locally called ‘nona’.
