Hey, ya gotta give the dude some respect. Face life, its not just bout tech and other things that are going on that improves the comfort as a human being but this ,Steve Irwin, the man who died while trying to show the world the wondrous beauty or creature God created. He deserves every respect from all walk of life but if you wanna salute him or not its up to you. For I, a Malaysian fan, salutes him not because he is popular or not but as the BEST consevationist.

Yeap Steve Irwin was popular, even more in the US than in his home country. He was so infectious on TV tough I didnt reallly follow the series. He died at his prime.

last time in the zoo he feed crocodiles while holding his baby, saying that it is safe. his death just show that nothing is safe, wildlife still always wild and not to have fun with.

I don’t know the old lady in person, nor Steve.. and I don’t know if the old lady contribute anything to the nature.

If I would have met Steve, we would probably become friends. I will mourn for every friend of mine if they pass away, even if they are not contributing to the environment.

I am not denying Steve’s contribution to the nature, his REAL FANS have the rights to mourn.. pretty obvious I’m not one of them, and have no intention to pretend I am.

What irritates me is SOME of the people who pay their tributes.. they will do more respect to Steve if they stop eating shark fin soup and stop using leather products.. rather than saying “I felt sorry for the loss, blah blah..”

The state funeral is a joke, Steve’s father is right that he was A SIMPLE MAN. It’s not Steve’s fault.. it’s Howard and the Aussies government that use the death of Steve to make free publicity for themselves.

Hey guys, does anyone know that old lady? did she contribute to the envoironment/nature?. or was she like ‘Mother Teresa” NO!..that’s why only her relatives/freinds mourns for her. and as for the ‘uncle & niece’, no comments… BUT this croc-hunter is known for his bravery and most of all his cheerful personaility and contribution to promote animal protection, from all who had met him. Jee, you would say the same had you met up with Steve Irwin. His dad has turned down a ‘State funeral’ offer by the Governmet stating what and who he is[was] ‘A SIMPLE MAN’ goes to proves the type of man he is.NOT what you guys thought someone going for glory and frame!!. There are STILL geniune people in this world.

I use to watch his documentary show and i find him a very brave man because whatsoever dangerous animals he finds, he will love to hold it and let it stings. I find him rather a silly guy that will do anything to be famous and this what he deserves to get. I usually watch his documentary films and end up telling my wife and children that someday he will be looking for trouble and now it came truth. Nothing to be sad about… I mean Irwin.. he loved what he is doing and he die for something that he loved doing so what the heck to be pitiful about…. he is already a wealthy man in his act but really the old malaysian lady deserves our sympathy…right…dude!!!!!
