Yesterday was SW’s birthday, we celebrated with her at SS2 Island Cafe.. with the old bunch of friends, most of us know each other for 9 years now.
9 years of friendship really mean something, and I always appreciate this relationship. Btw, CY and PG were there as well, and 3 of us know each other for some 18 years since primary school, that’s kinda coool.
A friend of SW made her a birthday cake, seriously a guy making a cake for a girl.. ermm pretty obvious right? The cake taste quite good actually, with yam ice cream and some rum in it.
Actually SW b’day reminded me of something, that we celebrated her birthday last year in Soul Out, Sri Hartamas.. which seem to be just a while ago. Times really just past in front of our eyes without us realizing it.
Last year SW b’day was also the last time I stepped food into a pub, or disco or whatever. Kinda suprise really.. am I getting old or something?
HP will be visiting from Ipoh tonite, perhaps get him to KL with CY, Beach Club will be nice.. but 3 guys in a pub.. that’s pathetic, better play mahjong at home perhaps.
Oh and also, most of us that were at the birthday celebration yesterday are already 27 or 28, and none of us are married yet. In fact out of the same group of 40 classmates, only 2 got themselves into the grave marriage.
The philosophy on marriage must have change nowadays, getting married is no longer priority for lots of people..
