Kakuro is my latest addiction after became a bit jaded with other Japanese puzzles like Sudoku or Super-Sudoku.

Kakuro is generally used term in UK for this Japanese puzzle, in Japan it’s originally named Kakro and is US they called it cross sums. It’s a different game with Sudoku, but I think that Kakuro is easier than Sudoku.

If you are new to these Japanese puzzles and would like try it because everyone else is playing it.. I suggest to try Kakuro first instead of Sudoku.

I won’t go into the details, wikipedia (link) had a simple guide for playing Kakuro, and you can try some Kakuro online at Kakuro.com

Emily the StrangeEmily the Strange is here! For the first time ever I had found Emily Strange comic books at local bookshelf (MPH 1U), absolutely loving it!

Emily the Strange or Emily Strange is a unique character originally drawn by Buzz Parker. The color scheme of the comics is usually a combination of black, white and red tone that blends extremely well and simply amazing.

What funny is from Kajang OCPD Asst Comm Mohd Noor Hakim, who defended his men’s action, saying that..

Under Section 9a of the Lock Up Rules, the police can shave a detainee’s head bald. “So, we are just exercising whatever the law requires us to do.”

Watched Jet Li’s Fearless at 1U yesterday, it’s a disappointment.

Jet Li, FearlessThe storyline for Fearless is pretty weak especially at the second half of the movie, wasted fighting scene with poor cinematography, lots of unexplained issues (like how Jet Li learned the martial arts that his father never wanted him to learn) and the part where he rejuvenate himself at a small village is dang boring.

To be fair Fearless is still one of the better Chinese film in recent years, but it still sux. And also where would Michelle Yeoh come in to play if her role was not cut off from the movie?

A few Prophet Muhammad cartoons created tension in Middle East, Muslim communities are demanding apologies from involved parties. One of the most controversial cartoon is that a bomb being attached on Prophet Muhammad’s head, linking Muhammad to terrorism.

Before anyone reading further, take note that I am totally against any insult or flaming against any religious issues.

Lots of people might have experience playing 3 legged walking, where 2 people tie their legs together and walk to a destination. It is a commonly used sport for team building in school events.

The competition are opened to Japanese primary school students, with a team of 30 kids tying their legs together, so it’s 30 person with 31 “legs”. The teams will have to dash 50m and time recorded, the best wins.

Back from Ipoh in the afternoon, heavy traffic thus drove for 4 hours (normally takes 2).

So what I did in Chinese New Year? Cleaning, cooking, drinking, gathering, talking craps with cousins that I can’t remember their names, listen to craps from relatives that mistaken me as my brother blah blah..

Every Chinese New Year for me is the same for the past 10 years or so, lots of people, lots of noices, lots of work, lots of food and not enough sleep. Expert says that madness is doing the same thing again and again while hoping for things to change, sounds fit for my Chinese New Year.

For those that are still enjoying the holiday, Happy Chinese New Year again.. for those who need to start working.. pity you lol..
