The Amazing Race Asia is here!!!
Finally The Amazing Race is having the Asian version, and it’s opened for application until 15th March 2006. This is going to be an adventure of lifetime for participants, and a chance to win a price money of US$100,000 (too bad not $1 million as of original version).
Well the show will be produce by AXN and not by the ori team of Amazing Race, anyhow that’s a chance of Asians to run a race across Asia and to win the price money, so the show still have plenty to offer.
I foresee that this Asia version will try to diversify the participants’ nationality, so we should have a Malaysian team selected for the show. It will be damn fun to see people of multi-culture to compete in this race.. probably could offer some new sparks into the a bit jaded Amazing Race.

wow. i would have participated if it weren’t for my exam.
maybe next year.
well, wish it would be extremely fun but i can’t really expect that much from an Asian version of the show.

hmhm….i wish to apply also lor…30-40 days leave….siong man…..how could I get away from my work so long……first elimination interview (travelling and stay) is paid by us lor…not the network.

i dont think it will just be a race “around asia”, but will still be around the world. it’s just that asians or people working in asia will be the ones playing this time.

I’m not sure about it now Jason.. I made this post 2 months ago, I could have read something back then, or maybe made some mistake.. but I am not that sure whether it will be a race around Asia or worldwide.
It should be a fun race regardless, can’t wait to see it.
