Woke up on early Sunday morning and went for a walk at FRIM, Kepong. I must be insane or drugged when I agreed my friends to do so.

Anyhow drove to FRIM (Forest Research Institute Malaysia?) early 7 with EP, CY and WK, suprisingly many people are there, Malaysians are sure living a healthy lifestyle.

Haven’t been to FRIM for 2 years, last time when my gang was in KL we went there once in a while. Nothing much has changed, the forest are still well preserved, the air is still smelly fresh.. just that it’s much crowded compared to last time.

We went for a simple track walk, a bit steep but manageable. I definitely need to boost up a bit of my stamina and muscle strength to hike up Mt Kinabalu next month, which should be much tougher than this “jungle” tracking.

It was not an entire happy outing, I sprained my ankle on my way walking down the slopes. Nothing serious, as spraining my ankle is pretty much a monthly routine. I found that my ankle is weaken whenever I gained some weight, another good reason for me to loss weight.

Well it’s still enjoyable to have a walk with some old pal, they actually suggested to visit FRIM again next week.. NoooooO.. save me!!

Haven’t been there in ages. Unfortunately it is quite far from where we stay - PJ.

Adam, with clear traffic it’s a half hour drive from PJ, still manageable.

I used to go hiking very frequently in the past..
but stopped for quite some time cos of the rainy season.

Hope the rainy season over soon, if not my Mt. K outing will be so difficult next month..
