Since childhood I was nurtured into the habit of reading, my mother was a teacher and my father was a book collector. My house in Ipoh once had a collection of over 1000 books, but decided to donate it to libraries and orphanage after my father passed away.
I read all kind of books.. fiction, classic, science, business, finance, management, engineering, self-enrichment blah blah..

People love advertisement. Ever bought a women or men’s magazine like CLEO, ELLE, FHM etc? Did you noticed how many advertisement there are in the magazines, sometimes the advertisement cover more pages than contents, yet the magazines are so very popular.
I have broadband at home, I can easily read the news from all online news sources. Yet I buy newspaper every few days, mostly for the advertisement as the ads sometimes provided some info and insights that are not available through news reports.
Frequent Technorati users will probably know about “Boing Boing” topping Top 100 Blogs for some time.. but I just noticed a change.. a pretty sudden change I must say.

Just had lunch with my family at KFC, tried the new fish sandwich.
It is not as huge as anticipated, as always the tv commercial is misleading. Taste ok lar, taste like fish.. what else? I personally prefer to take the McD fillet o’ fish burger, that is if I am forced to have a fish burger. Somehow I think fish don’t match well with the bun, they never taste really good.
As said the fish sandwich is not huge, thus I consumed another 3 pieces of hot and spicy chicken, some coleslaw, some mash potatoes, some fries and a large cup of Pepsi.. here comes another 1kg into my body weight, shit!

A Chinese primary school (新中小學) in Penang Malaysia was almost demolished by the money-sucking property developer, the last minute court order managed to save it.. or merely delay it for a few days.
I won’t go into the details of the dispute of demolishing the Chinese primary school, the developer probably had the legal rights to do so, but ethically? They should at least wait until the new school is built before starting the demolition.
