I was kinda suprise that most of my friends don’t know what is WC.
The actual meaning for WC is water closet, aka flush toilet.. and is commonly used to signal availability of public toilets in some places. The terms WC is not commonly used in Malaysia, I remember seeing it only a few times, I think in KLCC.. Commonwealth countries most likely naming it toilet or washroom straight away.

Actually the word toilet is meant to be the bowl, or the place people ‘dumb’ in the big and small waste. Don’t know when people start to call the room containing the toilet a ‘toilet‘.
Back to water closet, Do you know that Ancient Romans were using WC system 2000 years ago.
The modern flush toilet was said to be invented in 16th century by English, and only popularized in 19th century.
It is however the Japanese that make the WC to the extreme.. with auto wash, dryer, height control, music etc. The picture is an electronic controller for a toilet bowl functions.. oh my goodness lol.
One last piece of fact.. place for poo is toilet or WC, what is the place for the guys to stand and pee? It’s call urinal.
