The miraculous surviving news of the US miners had U-turned into the deepest sorrow as 12 of the 13 miners are confirmed dead, the ealier joyous news was said to be due to miscommunications from the mining company officials.
I had not been following closely to the US-miners-trapped news, too many people dying around the world everyday that I become numb in this kind of news.. but this case is simply not right and so cruel.
It was painful enough to be acknowledged that their love ones were most likely dead after trapping in the mine for more than 24 hours, it was more torturing to let them suffered the heartbroke again when initially told that the miners survived and only to be told that they were dead ‘again’.
For me the false news was more unforgivable than the mine explosion itself, I felt so sorry for the friends and relatives of those miners.
To the sole survival of the disaster, get well soon. To the other 12, rest in peace.
