Malaysia blogger kcyap are organizing a Wordpress 2.0 Theme Design Competition from 15th January 2006 - 28th February 2006. A total of ~ RM3000 worth of prizes ready to give away to the winners, including ipod, Sony PSP and Samsung mobile phone.
Competition is open worldwide, prizes will be sent to respective winners. Please visit kcyap’s blog for competition details and contact info.
I think that this is a good chance for people to show off their programming and designing skills, as well as motivation for some people to start learning about Wordpress theme design.

Update: Seems like that bastard ran away without giving the prizes, and the competition turn into a scam.. I felt stupid to trust in him at the first place. Kcyap should really be ashamed of himself, bastard!
