Godaddy and Namecheap are 2 popular domain name registration service provider.
Both of them are having good reputation, fair prices and have their own supporters. I used Godaddy initially but felt that it offered too much of things that I don’t need of, thus I tried Namecheap and are happy with it too. Since then I had been switching between these 2 for registering new domain.
Most of my friends were with Godaddy until recently I recommended to them Namecheap, and in the past few weeks Namecheap had impressed them (us) in a few situations..
Last week my friend want to register a domain and found that it was not available at Godaddy but available at Namecheap. This is the 2nd time this happened among my peers for the past couple of weeks.
Also another friend of mine are having some problem with his account at Namecheap and e-mailed them regarding the problem.. to everyone suprise Namecheap representative called him and settle the issue in timely manner. Well a US based company calling his ’small’ customer in Malaysia was really something new for us, their customer service is giving really good impressions.
Don’t get the wrong idea, I am still happy with Godaddy and probably will still continue using their service together with Namecheap.. just want to share another good domain registration option with everyone.
