Had dinner a few days ago with a few pharmacist and bio-medic researchers.
Someone (I think is LCY) raised up a stupid but worth study issue.. that breast feeding might not be the best option for infants nowadays. Reason being that the current tech makes the infant milk product enhanced with lots of nutritions like DHA etc that even breast milk can’t match the superiority; thus infants consuming milk products might be smarter than those breast fed after growing up.
A few argued that mother’s milk is natural thus easier to digest and absorb, and provide immune that can’t be artificially produce, so it’s still the best. Milk products might be endorsed with loads of nutritions yet the infants might not be able to absorb much of it.
I am not expert enough to judge this issue, wonder if there is any recent studies regarding this matter. What I strongly believe is that lots of things are genetically built, simple saying it’s born to be.. but what matters the most is the caring, teaching and learning. Nutritions just need to be sufficient, nothing much.

i personally feel that mothers should give milk to their own child but!! there’s an exception if they weren’t producing enough milk
and I totally agree with you that nuture is more important then nature.. that’s what at least that psychologist guy found out with wire monkeys. Oh yea and I changed my url cause i didnt want my ex to view my blog :\ lol.

Hahha, this is gross misinformation. DHA and many other nutrients are present AND abundant in breast milk. The technology that you refer to is TRYING to make formula milk as close as possible to the superiority of breast milk. Pharmacists and bio-medic researchers should know this.

ic ic.. one more reason to not trust my friends in their professions.. lol sometimes we know each other too well that I find it hard to believe this people are capable of being a pharmacist or doctors.. they just study a few more books than me that’s all..
