I bought my current pc since 5 years ago, and it has been working pretty well for me, until..
It all started 18 months ago, when my video card failed to function properly.. I couldn’t play any graphic intensive games since then.. that was the first time I thought of changing my pc.
Well live goes on without pc games, not a problem at all.. so my pc survived.
7 months ago, my CD-ROM was not working.. well since I am not playing games, and I have a DVD player (attached to tv) for movies, live goes on even without CD-ROM, my pc survived.
4 months ago, my monitor started color-fading, originally it turns yellow, and then turn pink.. now I am typing and staring at a pink screen, some girls will love my monitor so much lol. Well I am already use to the pink screen, quite cute btw and not soared to the eyes, so live goes on and my pc survived again!
2 weeks ago when I was back from Europe, dang my USB port is not working and I can’t upload my digital camera photos to the pc. Shoot, I will have to borrow my brother’s laptop later. Well USB is probably good only with digicam, nothing urgent.. so live goes on, my pc ermm barely survived.
2 days ago my pc started to shut down randomly and troublesome to restart it, probably the ultimatum.. time to change the pc, maybe next month. Thanks for being faithful at service at the past 5 years, my beloved pc.. in another 2 more weeks I will.. SHIT!
.. my computer actually shut down again when I was typing the first similar post, guess what? I am going to the computer store tomorrow and get a new one.

I have the a pc as old as yours!!! Throughout this 5 years, I’ve changed quite a lot of stuff. I’ve upgraded my TNT2 graphics card to GeForce2. I’ve upgraded my 128 Ram to 256. I’ve change my monitor a year ago, the old one gone kaput. I’ve change my cd-rom once because one of my CD breaks inside my old cd-rom. Now I have a cd-burner as well. I’ve changed my old very-expensive-ink-catridge HP printer to a Canon.
Wow, looks like my pc changed a lot and now it is still running. Like you, i need a new pc too. it’s rnning a little slow

mine one is very slow, and it shut down on me for at least 5 times for the past few hours.. good thing is that I never spend any $$ upgrading it before, only 1 time $50 for reformat, so quite worth the value..
