Second day in Paris, our first destination was Paris famous Eiffel Tower..

The beginning of a 19 day journey, me and my sis together with another 23 tour mates, and Craig the great tour guide with Marcel the magnificent bus driver.
We departed early from London at 7am and headed for Dover. Other than the main port to crossover to Calais, France.. Dover is also famous for its White Cliff. The ferry took around an hour to cross the strait from Dover to Calais, my first ever landing on the Continental of Europe.
I always wanted to visit Stonehenge, I missed the chance last visit to UK due to time constraint; and I won’t wanna miss it this time. My sister booked a day tour for me to Stonehenge and Bath.
The tour departed at 8am, on a Benz MPV with another 13 fellas. Our first stop was at Lacock, a beautiful small village… the tour guide told us that one of the Harry Potter movie was shot inside the Lacock Abbey, which I doubt; if it was indeed a major screenshot for Harry Potter, this place should be crowded with tourists.
Woke up late due to jet-lag, originally planned to visit Oxford and Costworth, but due to time constraint.. decided to have a London sightseeing instead.
I had no particular plans, so just headed straight to one of the larger underground station, the Victoria station. Reached Victoria station at around noon and started my long walking journey.
I always wanted to do this, to leave a message on my blog using a KLIA connection.. nothing special really, just a very very dumb thinking.
Another 2 hours before departure, KLIA is more crowded than I was here a few years ago.. come to think of it, other than Singapore I haven’t been overseas for almost 5 years now.. still I feel blessed to have a chance to board on a flight again, as I have a number of friends that never have a passport, never even been to Singapore at the least.
Wish myself to enjoy my journey, I believe I will :)
