Second day in Paris, our first destination was Paris famous Eiffel Tower..

We headed up to the 2nd level to have a bird view of the city, if was cold and I wear only a t-shirt.. but the scene is lovely. We could see the Arc de Triomphe from there.. (at the left of the photo)

.. also the amazing Montmartre Basilica (the highest point of the city)

We then headed for Montmartre, where the artist of Paris gathered. We took a furnicular up hill and had our lunch there, we had crepes again.. lol not much options really, but there tasted good.

Just top of the hill was the Montmartre Basilica, to be precise Basilica of the Sacré Cœur.

Our highlight in the afternoon was Musée du Louvre, the largest museum in the world and arguably the most famous. Too bad no photos allowed in the Musuem, so I could only have a brief glance at Mona Lisa, and realized why it is so special.

Btw, anyone reading The Da Vinci Code? The above photo is I.M. Pei’s famous pyramid.. and this one is the smaller inner pyramid..

We headed back to our hotel for some rest, the scene from the window looked quite nice as well.

At night some of us went for the cabarets excursions, cost around 120 euro each person. At the beginning I thought it was gosh dang expensive, but after the good food, nice wine and a great, suprising and marvellous show, I said it’s worth the price for a life time experience.
